>TV show
No. Fuck no. Why do people want to watch a shitty low budget piece of crap that will undoubtedly end up in the toddler version of Disney Channel?
This movie had some of the best attention to detail in recent animation. It also wasn't afraid to add nods for more mature audiences with jokes that fly over children's heads. Why the fuck do you want all that ruined with shitty 20 minutes episodes with lame plots?
It would not end up being Julian style CGI. It would not even end up being 2D in the style of the concept art. It will most assuredly end up being crappy stylized 2D typical of Disney toddler shows.
Ask and hope for a big screen sequel, and pray they don't make a TV show.
>DVD on blueray comes out

I just started watching this. 5 minutes in and the premise is already retarded. A newborn lamb is larger than a young fox. Weasels are incredibly small. The farm animals would've been able to kick their assess easily.
>>82383263
Nobody can kick Gideon and Travis's asses.
The farm kids deserved it anyways.
So... I'm at a hotel, and what do I see in the middle of the TV channels?

Well, I'm a huge fan of the whole Gideon x Travis thing because it just makes a nice story, but as much as it pains me to say this, either of them being gay has no basis in the film other than being based on/voiced by a gay guy.
That being said, you could just (and by you, I mean me) assume that they were both in the closet, so neither would get bullied for it.
Also, the guys next door is, I think, definitely a gay couple, but so well-hidden that they might as well not be in the movie. They have the same (hyphenated) last name but are different species - there aren't many scenarios that could result in this.

I was thinking that for the sequel that a new female fox joins the force because she saw that she saw Nick do it and idolize him, Judy gets jealous and doesn't know why at first. Then she realises why is because she's in love with him. And fights for his love

There have been people over 40 on /tg/ for a long time, it doesn't surprise me that we've got some super hip grandparents among us.

Uh... Frolic was the name of the event? I think? There were signs everywhere with just that word. I suppose it could have been a prior DJ, figured it was the event.
My friend is not Frolic, in case that is someone. Apologies for the confusion!
>>82388840
Please no. No pointless love triangle shit. It rarely if ever improves things.

I actually want a Zootopia TV show, hear me out. There's no fucking way they'd turn it into educational television and air it on Disney Jr. They won't make ANY money there, fucking ZERO. Disney Jr. is an awful channel to have ads on, and companies know that. It's literally the channel that parents leave on for their children to keep them distracted while they do something else. 90% of the ads played on that channel don't find their demographic, because almost every receiver tuned into it is a parent in the kitchen and a 3 year old asleep on the couch. Disney XD or channel, on the other hand, or, hell, even a Netflix partnership, would require the audience to actually search for the show, and as a result, would lead to a large yet comparatively homogenous viewer base. The ads would be more specialized, and, as a result, would be willing to pay higher revenue. As for the people saying the original talent wouldn't be there, how so? Byron and Rich loved this working on this movie, and I have a pretty good feeling neither one wants to shunt it off to the side until later. They're probably pushing for continuations too. The CGI would probably have to be either downgraded, or, the episodes would be released in batches, a season at a time. Or maybe just a whole new art style. The VA's aren't a problem, Goodwin and Bateman aren't exactly being dragged all over Hollywood, their schedules would be somewhat free. The only one who would be difficult to get a hold of is probably Shakira, and Gazelle's a minor character anyhow. The storytelling opportunities would be there, it'd be nice to have something to tie us over until the sequel. And, if the show really turns out to be THAT BAD, we can always just pretend it was never canon.

Bully and fat shame
Could anyone explain why everyone is so encircled on their children?
They're pretty young and barely started their jobs, can we have cool buddy stuff with children appearing near the end of the closing film of trilogy to create room for future sequels?
I'm thinking the sequel should tackle a lot of the issues we see today with people just not trusting the police.
>>82388877
It may not dethrone the top two abominations but it may hit top 5 all time. Which is all we can ask,Till Moana blows it out of the water. Proving disney was right to back it up over this,

Now that you mention it, I like how the police in this movie ISN'T as useless as other movies or shows depict them and how they're not part of the conspiracy or taking brides and shit.

Let's not open that can of worms. It's justified in the real world
>>82389149
It was a pro-cop movie, which we desperately needed in this day and age. I love how the media fucking portrays cops as bumbling idiots, and then wonders why people think it's perfectly acceptable to disrespect the law.

>after all, he's the first and only fox on the force
>slowly starts building trust from the people who live on his beat
>word starts to spread that he actually does his job surprisingly well... for a fox
>then some big event (whatever that would be) proves his worth once and for all
YES, JAPAN, YES.

It was actually pretty amazing how long the general lasted. Almost an entire year. Shit, they even made an entire new website to continue it.
I'm glad this movie never spawned a legitimate general. Maybe /co/ is learning.
