>>82252895
Those two chased the organics down to the planet. Then reinforcements showed up and the rest had to run off. Given the situation, they were vastly out numbered. So that seems understandable.

How would Nautica know what the customs are on other colonies?
>>82253137
She traveled with Thunder Clash or just read it up.
>>82253164
Read it up where?
>>82253182
Rung has lots of data files and we know the two were friends. Rung could have lent her all kinds of stuff during her many months on the Lost Light.
>>82253182
Behind scenes? She does read like when she mentioned reading up about Rung's data files.
So where are you?
I'm deep in Anger.
>>82253380
Shock and denial for me. Although reading the issue finally I better understand whyTarndid what he did.
>>82253119
ah, that's a good point.
So they're clearly wanting to avoid amica endura, and they're clearly looking for a cybertronian (that doesn't narrow it down much)
but that, to me, suggests that the bot they feel for isn't one they really could see having a friendship with.
Or perhaps even more interesting, a deep friendship with one, but a longing with another, unsure if cybertron was okay with that sort of split emotional bonding.
>>82253407
I suspect it is part of the greater "weeding out the weak" mentality.
Especially because Tarn is likely seeing himself as the "new" megatron.
Am I close?
>All this pain
In other news, what did Tarantulus do to Verity? I hope this means she will live.
>>82253431
I meant more about how he was being picked on byOverlord and how he had just had such a bad meeting with Megatron. Kaon picked a helluva moment to barge in; he might not have been killed had he waited until later and Tarn was more calm.
>>82253478
He is jacked up on the special fuel and that does make him edgy.
>>82253119
>I oly got a few hours to live
>I have to get laid
priorities
>>82253478So he did it to relieve stress? Oh boy, lets see how long it takes Tesarus to defect.
>>82253243
>>82253254
And how would Rung have files on the colonies?
>>82253554Another thing going wrong/adding to his growing pile of stress and he just... lashed out at it. It was the straw that broke the camel's back. Kaon just picked a bad time to walk in. Makes me wonder if Tarn will regret it later since when he first joined up with Deathsaurus he said would never sacrifice any of his team :( It seemed like an impulse thing.
>>82253699
Dunno. Like I said before she traveled with Thunder Clash who did come across other colonies or she read it up somewhere.
>>82253740Now that you mention it, this could prove to be a wedge between Deathsaurus' and Tarn's alliance...
>>82253763
>or she read it up somewhere.
Cybertron only just came in contact with the colonies again. There is no literature anywhere for her to read about this stuff.
>>82252833
Tran is really doing nothing to try and downplay the whole "ow the edge" stereotype" everyone thinks he is.
>>82253798
what is the argument here?
That shes lying?
>>82253798
Alright then if getting reading materials is that straight forward from Cybertron only then she learned it from travelling with Thunder Clash.
>>82253829
That there's been a mistake in the writing. Hell, the Thunderclash explanation doesn't work either because Windblade and Chromia hadn't been to any other colonies prior to the Windblade book, and they were with Thunderclash the same time Nautica was.
>>82253798
But now they are, and they can probably send info directly to the LL. She probably just downloaded it, then read it on her Ipad thing.
Someone ask Roberts on twitter for an answer.
Maybe Nautica just uses the cybernet. Scavengers troll on Autopedia and visit Con forums, why wouldn't Nautica be able to check out colonyposters?
>>82253857
They were on Cybertron for around 6 months before Megatron became captain. So she could of picked up a ton of new information.
Impactor kills Hubcap.
>>82253938
Except that they didn't come in contact with any of the other colonies during that time. That only started at the end of the first Windblade mini.
>>82253941Prowl gains a conscience
>>82253495Overlord standing their mocking him in front of everyone does though, look at Tarn's face the whole time and how tense he is.
>>82253740I'm betting he will regret, look at Nickel's face in the next panel, she was standing right next to him when he did it. She'll either yell at him or be so afraid/disgusted that she goes off by herself and won't speak to him.
>>82253958
But they did sorta. The call Cybertron sent out after Dark Cybertron. All those new bots appearing back on the planet. Not all of them are like on the council. You got other colonies that wasn't taken in like Nickel's colony.
>>82253958
>>82254001
Plus isn't the one on the council all have some sort of titan?
>>82253958
Then either fucking ask Roberts on twitter or this >>82253931 is the answer.
>>82253941
A warning on that would have been nice, I thought it was another mtmte spoiler, which I've already read, but haven't gotten to Wreckers yet.
>>82254001
You are getting very mixed.
The call was sent after Chaos, not DC.
All of those bots are NAILs, not colonists. They received the signal because they were from Cybertron originally. The term "colonies" has been used exclusively for the 13 Metrotitan colonies... which Nickel has already been said to be from, specifically one named Prion. It's kind of hard to take in her colony when it had been wiped out before they even got a chance to find it. They still haven't found all of the 13 colonies, they even just talked about this in the recent exRiD.
>>82253958
The 13 colony SHIPS aren't the only colonies of cybertronians to ever exist, obviously.
>>82254268
They've sure as hell made them sound like they're the only major ones that formed their own governments, customs, and the like, as no one's talked about any others and they're only recruiting those colonies for the Council of Worlds.
>>82254341
They're the notable ones because they're different from the colonies that Autobots, Decepticons and NAILs might've settled in for during the war.
How is it so hard to get?
I was really pleased to see that one kill Tarantulas got. I've been waiting for someone to kill usingmass shiftingfor years now.
A shame about the victim,Roadbuster, though.

It's a bit of a shame Vos didn't die instead, given that Trailcutter died to revive him - making it all the more pointless.
On the plus side, they can justconvert Kaon into chair mode permanently and use him as furniture.

Stemming from that, most of the DJD could be repurposed after they die.

>>82255617
Poor Roadbuster. Then again we have seen bots live despite their heads being destroyed before in IDW so pull out them asspulls for this one.
Have to say these two issues are the perfect remedy for the endless onslaught of boring exRiD comics.
MTMTE was flailing for a while but they've managed to keep it going at a nice pace recently with meaningful things happening to meaningful characters. Plus, with seemingly randomly bringing Overlord back you can assume more is to come from it, as opposed to John 'I'll resolve this in 5 years' Barber.
SOTW also offers a nice combination of drama, fighting and tiny twists. It's not as if characters are doing full on 180s but it's a great read.
Meanwhile, exRiD is becoming more and more like The Phantom Menace. Nobody cares about the characters, the politics are really poorly done and they keep introducing things nobody wants unless done right.
I say we petition neatly timed mini's to replace exRiD and do all its smaller elements right.
Is Rodimus and Drift's reunion supposed to be touching?
Because he's only become a bigger asshole since Drift left. He's learned jack shit.
>>82255790
>The guy is always acting like each issue is gonna be full of suspense and tears

Yes, I know, he carefully cultivates this echo chamber he can easily call on to give himself validation

>>82256155
>At least the issues are good again.
They are? We must be reading different stories.
>>82256133
The Writers are really bad on letting Rodimus grow. He's always the perpetual ineffectual leader.
Optimus's growth is more about him reclaiming his position as a leader.Hestill is my favorite character, but his incredible rash of bad luck and lack of respect is annoying to me. I miss the days when people respected him.
We're talking about Optimus Prime. Probably the ONLY guy who could take down an enraged Megatron. The guy who turns impossible loses into complete miracles.
At least Megatron's had a pretty good arc. He's become a better , more complex character through introspection.
Starscream's finally having his day in the sun like he always wanted.

Yeah, I feel like this series would be FIFTY times better if the comics didnt have to fucking cater to the toys.
I love Transformers, and IDW's done a fucking AMAZING job at ressurecting a franchise and turning it good, but it could be better without some jarring discontinuity shit and the Hasbro crap.
>>82256191
Yeah shame about that.
He went through a lot of shit including dealing with traitors, getting caught and tortured, brushed with death several times and touched the goddamn Matrix itself.
But he's still his old Spotlight: Hot Rod self, except this time everyone takes him more seriously.
>>82255997
Its actually probably those weirdoz with the symbol from the last scavengers issue
>>82256272
I kind of understand IDW, though.
You cant be having too many "Wise Heroic Leaders of Justice" types.
The writers probably feel that Hot Rod's idealistic, heroic ,impulsive, oft unwise ways is what differentiate him from OP.
And IDW's always taken care to shit on the "HEROIC WISE LEADERS"-tier characters. OP is still tries, but he has incredible bad luck. He always succeeds, mind you- he always comes through, and saves the day and the world, but gets no respect.I mean, just last chapter, a NOBODY told him basically that he wasnt a 'true Prime'.
Thunderclash is played for jokes.
Starsaber's supposed to be HEROIC LEADER OF BURNING JUSTICE, but now's just Zealot Burning Hate tier type.
IDW just hates heroes, I think.

So does this issue basically confirm Tarn is Roller?

Besides Roller, who else could Tarn be? The implication was that whoever Megatron corrupted into Tarn was a big score for him.

Glitch, the Outlier who could shut down machinery with a touch, and who was said could learn to do it at a distance.

More or less. But he's really not much more confirmed than before.

Just like my Beast Wars!
Ok, I know that nobody cares, but here's how I imagined Hubcap's reason for joining Tarantulus:
Verity: "How could you do this Ironfist? What could make you work for this lunatic?"
Hubcap: "Revenge. For Ironfist."
Verity: "Ironfist? But Ironfist died because he had something wrong with his head. Prowl had nothing to do with that."
Hubcap: "It's more than that, Verity. Ironfist had a friend named Skyfall, but it turns out that Skyfall wasn't really Ironfist's friend. Skyfall wanted Ironfist's lab REALLY badly, so he tried a number of things to get Ironfist out of the picture. Eventually, Skyfall set up Ironfist's automatic-headshot-gun to shoot Ironfist in the head. It was only a matter of time before the bullet reached Ironfist's brain and killed him. And since Ironfist was living on borrowed time, Prowl had him put into the Wreckers, in order to get past Aequitas' suicide lock.
But it turns out sabotaging the headshot gun wasn't really Skyfall's idea. SOMEONE ELSE gave it to him... Would anyone like to guess who?"
Verity: "N-no..."
Hubcap: "It was PROWL. HE gave Skyfall the idea. HE set up Ironfist's death from the very beginning!"
...
But in the end, in a potential plot-twist, Prowl was never responsible for what happened to Ironfist. Tarantulus made Hubcap THINK Prowl was responsible by using a thought-gun (like Getaway has) to give him the idea, in order to use him.
