The object of the Gen 1 and 2 casts were to use relevant enough characters (and before you say anything, as much as I also like Eva, three episodes of competing does not qualify) not used in All Stars, but Gen 2 would still need two dudes from All Stars to even out the team. Lightning and Scott seemed like the best picks, so Courtney was brought back over Bridgette to continue her story with Scoot.

Scarlett and Max actually will be a reoccurring threat in the season, just not as competitors. Ella just didn't make the cut because I had nothing for her plot wise. Might make her an Aftermath host, I don't know.
But either way, Eva placed 4th in one of my stories, and is a finalist in my current one. Add in how she might be an important character in the personality swap story, and I think I can give her a break in this instance.

Season 1: You already watched it so you know, but it's considered one of if not the best.
Action: Watchable, but not nearly as good as before and took some loved characters in painful directions
World Tour: I personally wasn't fond of it but everyone else seems to like it. Some more questionable decisions and lots, lots, LOTS of songs.
All Stars: Everyone hates. I can never really nail down the reason why
Pahkitaw: Not THAT bad, but all the characters are really flat and the challenges needed work.
Ridonculous: Considered around the same level as season 1 to most. Even if you skip all the rest, this one's worth a shot.

Scott. Memes from All Stars aside, Scott gets WAY too much flak from parts of the fandom just for eliminating a waifu, and his punishment was way over the top. If you ever choose to get around to the other seasons, World Tour will introduce you to Alejandro, Sierra, and Blaineley who round out the original cast, Revenge of the Island will be Gen 2, Pahkitew Island for Gen 3, and Ridonculous Race for a spinoff cast.
If you only watch one I'd say watch Ridonculous Race, but Revenge of the Island is really solid as well and half as long. From there World Tour and Pahkitew is optional. Stay away from All Stars.
