Also guys, I finally managed to finish the CGs x JatH thing I was talking about a couple days ago. Coloring Amethyst was a total bitch, all the blue pens I have weren't inherently the right color, so I had to cheat a bit by putting some white colored pencil down, inking over that, and then carefully wiping off some of the excess ink, and even then it didn't come out quite right. Stevonnie's clothes are off-color as well, but that's as close as I could get with what I have.
I really need to get a better computer and a drawing tablet.

You know the magical gems that all of the aliens in this series have embedded in their bodies? Those are their entire bodies. Everything else is just a magical hologram that they project so that they can interact with the world. Since Steven is half-alien, he needs a gem to exist (but since he's half-human, he also has a flesh body). You can't just make new magical alien bodies, so Rose had to pass hers to him when she gave birth, which effectively killed her.
The idea of doing that is crazy, so it had never been done before. One of the series' main themes is that nobody knows how Steven works because he's literally got his mother embedded in his body. He may or may not partially be her reincarnation because he's powered by her, but she's also kinda alive inside it still but kinda not.
