Disney hates Tron despite being one of its most unique IPs and overall successes.
There's literally no other reason for them to have wanted to can this and the third movie that was supposed to be in the works.

It was never properly supported. After the movie out it was supposed to be a part of the whole marketing thing with games, comics, etc. But for whatever reason the show was never given advertising, decent channel/time or a toy deal even though it could have easily been used to push extra or leftover stuff from the movies as well as its own goods.

I wish I would have been able to watch this when it first aired. I didn't really know it existed (great advertising Disney) and I've never had any of the Disney channels in my basic cable package. I did buy the complete first season on Amazon Video once I found out about it though. Just still feel disappointed that we haven't gotten more Tron.
