>I hate Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Huh. This is the only time I've ever been amused by this book.
Don't even care about context, this gets a sensible chuckle.

I want a remake by Frank Miller, Squirrel Girl vs ISIS.
>>82043877
I dig it.
Not even fuckin around. I hated the first 2 issues. Then i read 3 and 4 and either it found its stride or i just appreciated the jokes more.
I just enjoy for what it is. It's a little silly, kind of irreverent, colorful, slightly out of continuity marvel story.
I don't gotta give a shit about canon or where it fits in with the rest of the universe. It just kinda IS.

Mole man with a fedora? M'lady? Man, I am hoping they are not going where I am thinking they are going.

What do you wanna be when you grow up?
>>82045522
How's that 14th birthday party going for you, anon?
The stories aren't necessarily bad, though both the writing and plotting are a bit ham fisted in their attempts to be funny.
But I can't take the art. It's unappealing to me.

What does dick taste like anyway?
Sour pennies?
Is mole man gonna charm the squirrel girl? Are they going to go on a date?
>>82046149

>>82044070

I had an idea a long time ago for what I thought would be an actually good Squirrel Girl series.
>Mostly just one-off or two-arc issues
>Some running gag storylines but no real overarching plot
>Every issue begins with her going to some Marvel location (famous or relatively obscure)
>typically for a batshit insane/stupid reason or sometimes just being there inexplicably and is made into a joke
>the actual "point" of the series isn't Squirrel Girl herself
>it's to satirize and make commentary on various characters, groups, concepts, etc in the Marvel universe using SQ as a buffer and instigator for the actual story itself
>when SQ first meets the star of that issue she usually walks in on them doing something you wouldn't typically see in a comic
>don't go TOO overboard with OOC parody like most humor comics tend to do
>have them do ridiculous or stupid things (maybe even a guilty pleasure thing for whatever character/group/etc) but it seems 100% like something they would actually do
>not a writer but some shitty examples could be Steve being utterly confused by some concepts of the internet (not memes), Punisher being ashamed while watching The Sopranos in secrecy (he doesn't want people to know he watches a show that glorifies crime), Reed being told off for using his powers to cheat at whatever game while he acts like a pedantic little fuck about how he was following the rules to a tee
>you get the picture
>on top of that stupid shit there is legitimate commentary of the characters, their own current series, the Marvel universe itself, the editorial shit happening (without actually having the characters breaking the fourth wall), etc
>don't actually shit on them just pointing out something being criticized by fans, plot holes, etc.
>at the end of almost every issue they try to hint to SQ they want her to leave but she's too oblivious to get the hint and only leaves after a Seinfeld-esque ending
>>82045899
Well, to be fair, if you're going to use any character for a M'Lady joke, Mole's the one to go with.
>>82043877
>Moleman is more attractive than Squirrel Girl.
What a world.
