Also, fuck. I hate how the time in the Furthest Ring is linear when the narration requires it. Then epilogue that just gives a brief glimpse into where each character was heading going forward.

Honestly, one big issue is that the big flash was used up dealing with all the more minor villains, leaving no time for English's defeat.
So I'd suggest taking out at least two before the end of Act 6. Say Jack, for one, and then probably the Condesce. What you could even do then is have Lord English emerge from Union Jack, neatly removing that minor villain as well and depositing the final villain at the heroes' feet, ripe for combat.
