Because reaching your potential isn't instant. Anakin had a slow growth, basically. He's potentially incredibly powerful, but didn't have the time needed to get that way going the normal road, and may never have unless he'd been constantly pushing himself.
It also plays into the dark side being a quick path to power, too.
Consider Yoda and Palpatine, evenly matched with Yoda on a slight edge around the time of Episode III. Yoda has had centuries to work towards his full strength, Palpatine decades. But Palpatine had a quicker and easier route than Yoda, though ultimately the dark side forces a higher price.

Anakin was still powerful, he did make the Light and Dark Side embodiments bow before him. Anakin's skills shined on charisma and lightsaber though. He didn't star to hone his Force related skills until he was in the suit as Vader, because the suit allowed him to shut out the world and focus only on the Force. If Qui-Gon had taught Anakin, he'd be a lot more Force oriented and be a lot more powerful honestly, that and Qui-Gon would have reeled Anakin in a lot better than Obi-Wan would have. Qui-Gon knew a ridiculous amount about the Force honestly.

Battlefront 2, KotoR 1 and 2, Rogue Squadron 3D, the Jedi Knight games, Republic Commando are all fantastic.
Empire at War is hit or miss, but if you like strategy games, it might be worth trying. Space battles are generally agreed to be fun, but the game is lacking in a lot of areas, and ground battles are dull, but skippable.
I actually hate trying to play old games like the X-Wing series because I feel they haven't aged well, but depending on your experience with old stuff, you may enjoy them better.

Still raises questions about their colony systems, frankly. Can't say about Rako Hardeen given he's wearing proto Boba Fett armor, however Jango being from Concord Dawn, shit son. What the hell? It's possible the Mandos took it over recently, but I'd guess not given it was called a colony which implies active Mando settlements, that broken ass planet doesn't look too recent and it was almost certainly their fault. It's possible there might be non-Mando settlements that still fall under their jurisdiction.
But the kicker is the implied implications. No, not that Jango is Mandalorian again. They could do it, and I suspect setting up Concord Dawn like this is an out for them in case they ever want to make him one again. Lucas is out, and him being Mando hasn't made it far into the material except for Almec. People still see the armor for him and Boba and just assume. That's got to be annoying. Anyway the implication if Jango isn't Mandalorian is that he's an in-universe Mandoboo. A wannabe. A poseur.

If it is Revan it will probably be the only thing we get for a while. I read somewhere that they wanted to put Revan in clone wars but had to use Bane instead. So we can assume that someone over at Lucasfilm or Disney is pushing for a KOTOR movie. Originally it was going to be Revan and Bane during the Ghosts of Mortis episode that were controlling the Son, but Filoni talked Lucas out of it over the whole "Sith shouldn't be Force Ghosts thing and controlling the Son, it should be the other way around", but Filoni still wants to get Revan in somehow.
Eventually they just went with Bane for Yoda's vision and that was that. With the Old Republic nods in Rebels, and the potentiality of Traya being there, we might see some Revan before long.

A few problems. The most obvious is even if Jango's homeworld is transplanted it still runs into the, haha, grievous issue that people see the armor and think Mandalorian. They judge the book by the cover, and when there is very little evidence to refute it, and I mean actual material in books or shows or movies, not just statements made behind the scenes which most people are surely blissfully unaware of, it's a very easy mistake to make. I don't care of Jango is some douche with a hardon for their armor or a TRUE MANDO'A VODE AN, but I can see how it will always be a problem with the two characters. Frankly I wouldn't blame them if they finally relented. Know why? Because it wouldn't matter a damn. Jango would still be a bounty hunter doing skeezy shit for money, Boba would just be his clone who wants to follow in his daddy's footsteps but has an extreme kryptonite reaction to blind guys. Big whoop all around.
The second problem is that apparently the warriors were kicked off of Mandalore such a long time ago they are believed to have died out and the moon's forests have returned with the fighting gone. Takes quite a long time for that much woodland to grow. Still well within the lifetime of Jango whereas Almec initially acted like they'd all died out It was only when Obi-Wan mentioned he'd fought Jango that Almec dismissed Jango as just some dude in armor.
The third problem is just a bit of a continuity snarl. The Republic is aware of living Mando warriors, they've hired some. The easiest fix is that talking about their colonies, which could easily be doing their own things regardless of politics on the homeworld, isn't the same as dealing with warriors still on Mandalore. The Protectors are just guys on a colony who live by their people's ancient skills and reputation, plus they aren't enemies. It'd be different from the Mandalorian culture going warrior again as a resurgent warrior way on the homeworld will no doubt influence the colonies.

Also Mandalore was head of those 2000 neutral systems. If Mandalore goes warrior and joins the CIS that's a very big deal as far as the Republic is concerned.
Not to overplay it, they don't govern those 2000 systems, only represent them, but the influence of Mandalore could convince some to ally against the Republic. Even a fraction of those worlds going over to the enemy would be a cause for concern. It's why Maul's move was pretty damn clever. Seize influence and push those worlds onto a path of his choosing. Not that he ever got the chance but given Sidious sensed him at that point I'd say it was a very real threat imparted through the Force.

I don't think Fenn Rau's dudes are anywhere near as big as Death Watch, or at least that one base (which may have been their only base) wasn't all that impressive. A relatively small organization apparently self-declared as protectors of their colony system. Police, militia, national guard, all rolled into one. Strong enough at least that the Empire felt it work hiring them as watchdogs and skilled enough that the Republic hired them for training purposes.

Even if they can't work out the bugs, as such, what would you rather have? A hyperdrive or a gun that can take out an Imperial light frigate with one shot? You keep the goddamn gun is what you do and then you use transports to carry them, like they did with the Phantom in Rebels.
Only reason I can see them getting rid of it is if it's discovered it's a kyber based weapon. Quarrie just thinks he's using rocks with special properties, Kanan later senses it's using the Force as a weapon and a big taboo. And that's based only on the way the superlaser has collector beams similar to the Death Star (which isn't really an issue because the Republic had artillery walkers that used a similar design as far back as AotCs) and therefore it's another clue to the Death Star. Because that still seems to be their end game is discovering the Empire is mining Kyber on Lothal for their ultimate weapon.

I don't think this is right (and the databank has fucked up a couple of times). They weren't exiled "ages ago". They were exiled within Satine's lifetime. Specifically their last civil war that left the surface of Mandalore inhospitable. It was why Qui-gon and Obi-wan were sent there to protect her.

I don't think the Protectors needed to be a particularly large organization since their actual/original function were royal guards. These were guys who, while part of the warrior culture of Mandalore, probably didn't actually fit into the clan system. Could be why they chose not to join Death Watch when it formed. They probably recognized Satine over Vizsla, even though Satine and her regime rejected theer warrior traditions, and subsequently, the Protectors that would've been bound to protect her.

Because they're the most logical people who would oppose her the most. Before her, Mandalore was ruled entirely by their warriors. And then there comes Satine enacting an enormous cultural reform. It's like how the Samurai reacted to the Meiji restoration and Japan's overall modernization of the time. Only the Mandalorians were way more extreme.

That filthy Blade Runner aesthetic was something I always loved about TCW's depiction of the lower levels.

Now if they're long gone as the new canon sources tell us. If there is another source beyond your assumptions, however logical (I also think it's a flawed logic because any culture that has a strong warrior heritage will have resistance even if they've put up the weapons, because Satine was viewed as attacking their proud culture).
Pre's Death Watch is a resurgence movement, a resurrection of their warrior lines. He flat out says as much. They aren't some unbroken warrior line who survived as a hidden enclave on Concordia. They're a return. You may not like it but that's flat out what multiple sources are saying.

Whatever is flown will be blown up for dramatic purpose. Same reason why TIEs have no shields, X-Wings have shields, but if you see them up against each other a single shot takes out either. Whatever ship was going to be used in Rebels was going to suffer attrition and alarming loses, because they're playing up how dangerous it is and how the fledgling Rebellion is even more at a disadvantage than the Alliance which was at least bigger and presumably had more recruits, resources, and ships available. Keeping up with the Empire as much as they have has been demonstrated as being a hellacious challenge, and rightly so!

A good comparison, I think, is in TFA we see Poe's X-Wing disabled fairly easily, while when he and Finn stole a TIE it was taking hits from heavy cannons and was fine right up until it was needed to be shot down.
Now Pablo will probably tell you that Poe didn't have time to get his ship's shields up or the Resistance has to use substandard systems to get by or maybe the FO makes their Special Forces TIEs really super awesome against their own equipment. Or any other possibility. The real reason is of course drama. The script merely called for different things for the sake of the plot and the scene.

I'm a bit confused by what Sheev wanted with Vader/Anakin. In the RotS novel and film he seems genuinely concerned for Vader's welfare and rushes to get to him during the Mustafar duel, but then in the novel it kind of implies that he's happy with how Vader ended up. Surely he knows that Vader would have definitely surpassed and overthrown him had he been whole eventually, was he planning for that? If he wanted Vader crippled so as not to overthrow him, why is he looking for other apprentices in the comics and other EU? Then if he's looking for other apprentices, why is he bothering to actually teach Vader like he is the the Sith Lords novel?
