There was a giant meteor heading for Earth and Vlad revealed that he was half ghost, then demanded the world make him the ruler of the planet or some shit in exchange for him saving it. But it turns out the meteor was made of Ectoranium or whatever, so he couldn't turn it intangible, so Danny rounded up all the ghosts in the Ghost Zone and worked together with them to turn the Earth intangible instead. Vlad got shot off into deep space and Danny revealed that he was Danny Phantom to the world for some reason. He got statues in his honor all around the world, revealed his feelings to Sam and they started dating, and Tucker became mayor of Amity Park. It was a painfully rushed ending.
