Live action/CG clusterfuck like Sin City was.

Live action film, since it stars a live-action actor as the primary focus and occasionally has real sets. That's literally all it takes.

That said, still /co/ related because it's a live-action adaptation of the Disney animated feature, it is not an adaptation of the book of the same name and when you look at it actually shares very little with it. I

Are the prequels cartoons?

>Sin City
>clusterfuck

The Sin City movie was absolutely cohesive and looked great. I loved it.
>>
it makes you wonder if they're seeing if they can get away with a "live-action" Lion King

They're obviously stretching a bow string, anon.
>>
>>81972385
Was the second one good? I never got around to it
>>
>>81972118
Live action obviously and don't even try to argue that the cgi makes it /co/ related.
>>
>>81972118
how was the little girl at the end of this and does she do the song? I'm convinced now this will be worth a watch some day but I'm in no hurry.
>>
>>81972118
it is 100 percent animated, even that kid was CGI. Isn't it amazing what modern technology is capable of, He looks so real
>>
>>81973348
She's not in this version.
>>
But is it Kino?
>>
>>81973520
I want /tv/ to go and stay go!

What the mother fuck is kino?

Do they do the book ending?

german for cinema

Is it as good as the reviews make it out to be? Because it doesn't look good.
>>
>>81979960
There were some pacing issues, but I found it decent.

He stays in the jungle at the end.

Except this isn't adapting a comic book or cartoon, so it doesn't belong on /co/.
>>
>>81976662
And it was the best part of the whole movie
>>
>>81973335
there's more animation in the film than live acting

if a live actor walked into an episode of the clone wars, would it become live action?
>>
>>81976743
Best reverse trap.

Fuck Germany.
>>
>>81980168
Hey, hey anon?

I don't know how to tell you this, but you know the 'bear necessities'?

Not in the book.

They're not 'remaking' the book.

I'm so sorry.
>>
>>81980168
It is though, it's a live action adaptation of Disney's cartoon movie that was inspired by Rudyard Kipling's book. Both this and the old movie are completely different to the book, hell the book doesn't even have King Louie.
>>
>thought this was going to be a gritty remake
>which would for ONCE be fitting considering the source material
>kind of excited to see serious King Louie
>now there's cheesy jokes and shit

Who is this movie catering to
>>
>>81980588
No one. It's just feeling out the market for the development of later films. That's the kind of thing Disney can afford to do these days.
>>
>>81980409
>hell the book doesn't even have King Louie
Makes sense considering India doesn't even have orangutans.
