I think in this aspect the show has improved, as now we have Sarah and Clare, alongside bigger and better roles for Anais, Penny, Jamie, Miss Robinson and the orange bitch, which have finally reached the levels of "usage" Carrie and Teri used to have.
This plus Nicole's upcoming origins episode points to a much better role for the show's gals, of which, hopefully not sounding like tumblr, I'm quite pleased about.
