It's the style of the videos now, and Mystery Skulls is pretty heavy on that beat so it'd be silly to have one video that doesn't have it and to suddenly have a third one that is heavy on it.
It's close enough to the beat that I think it's fine to keep it like that.

Plot is confusing as hell and not as much fun to figure out as the first one was. It is becoming too random now and I think he got overambitious with this project. the transition from ghost to freaking out is so minimal and the actual plot beats in the video are almost non-existent, that i question what the creator was even trying to accomplish.

I don't think Arthur's trying to make her forget about Lewis, I think he's trying to put together some pieces. We've got the map on the screen where there's a few different locations where Lewis' face is crossed out, hinting that they looked for him there but didn't find anything, and the location of the first video is designated with a picture of Skull Lewis. And then he doesn't erase Lewis, he simply replaces it with a pink silhouette. I think what's most likely is that either Mystery wiped Vivi and Arthur's memory of Lewis' death in the cave, or Arthur's repressed it. And now Arthur's starting to put together the pieces of what happened while he and Vivi try and find the Lewis who, to them, just vanished overnight.

I missed the initial hype on all this. First video is pretty neat even if the skull bara and blue are the only good designs. It went enough places without being story focused with a lot of scenes being more there to fit good imagery for the music of for comedy. They story is just a neat bonus which I'm sure people have picked apart.
Second one feels very nothing, despite being much more story focused which I guess is a response to the boom of fans. The scenes now serve the purpose of setting up a load of stuff and don't take place in as many locations. It feels like they kinda stalled to put in all this anime bullshit, but they don't go far enough to make a real story go on here so it just feels a bit nothing. Stuff like having the lyrics be what people are saying and just more characters doing stuff instead of random shadows could have helped. Instead we get an unhappy medium. The song just ins't that great, kinda forgettable.
