Catwoman's relationship with Batman is interesting and all. I like the idea that he leaves himself purposefully less efficient when it comes to her. Makes all these compromises in his tactics to see her more often.
But the handful of Supes-Cat interactions I've seen are much cuter and I think they have better chemistry since they actually interact and it's less of a fuck-buddy situation.

I think it works fine. Selina just heard Batman died, but has to maintain her composure among her associates. Once she gets a chance to get away from them, she breaks down from the loss. The panels going down juxtapose her emotional state crashing with her physically ascending the stairs.
