He apparently mentioned the possibility of a Gravity Falls comic series so if that happens the info will come into play. For example it seems likely we'll get another Giffany story if the comic happens.

Bigfest isn't that big of a convention to begin with, but more importantly, Gravity Falls was never all that popular in Russia in the first place. Pretty weird of him to attend the convention at all.
I'll be interested to see the Rick & Morty crossover stuff he mentioned in Journal 3.
