There's just something wonderful about MM watching Sailor Moon. Like, of all of the art and literature and everything people have produced that someone might show him to help him get accustomed to human culture, they pick Sailor Moon.
I wonder who recommended it to him.
>>81937705
I can easily imagine a 13yo Clark Kent staying up late to watch FLCL and loving it.

I came here to shut post cause I couldn't think of a proper answer but this is honestly perfect.

Probably Dragonball or Onepunch man. Possibly a Super Robot show?
Ouran High School Host Club
What's Superman's favoriteStar Wars character?
>>81937927
Basically this. Superman doesnt watch anime, but he doesn't shit on it if you like it.
>>81939432
Leia. She's tough, head strong, but sweet, just like Lois.
>>81939405
Why does this make me laugh?
>>81939432
Definitely Luke, they both grew up on farms.
>>81937705
Depends on when he grew up. Superman doesn't seem like the sort to hunt down subs, so it was probably something airing on American television. Superman's about 30 now, so it would have been a show that was airing when he was ten years old, so something from 1996. That would have been young enough to catch the Funimation Dragonball and the DIC Sailor Moon, and if he kept watching a little longer, he'd be catching the beginning of Toonami and Pokemon. He'd also definitely be a guy who catches Miyazaki films with Lois.
>Superman offering to take Miyazaki flying
Cardcaptor Sakura
>>81939432
I bet it's Chewie or Artoo.
>>81939517
They also both have a father that they had to discover. It's got to be Luke, he's got the same good-hearted, righteous, "just-want-to-do-the-right-thing" attitude.

>>81939817
Batman on the otherhand would not watch anime, and would talk shit to people who do.
Astro Boy sounds about right. I also think he'd like Gigantor, for some weird reason.
>>81939432
Luke, no question. If we go with prequels I have a gut feeling he'd like Obi Wan, but I'm not sure why.
>>81939866
He'd be a manga elitist and a big fan of Ishinomori in particular
>>81939738
Why?
One Piece. Oda is a huge westaboo which sits well with a patriot like Superman, it promotes lofty ideas and strong bonds of friendship, and no one in the show could defeat him.
He tries to get the rest of the League to watch with him but Buggy and Ceaser trigger Batman and Wonder Woman hates the treatment of Amazons
>>81939903
If you're watching the prequels the only good characters are Obi-Wan and Sheev, and Supes doesn't seem like the type of guy to care about the villain.
Though it'd be kind of amusing to have Superman secretly being a big fan of edgy shit, in a "turn your brain off" sort of way.
>>81939738
>farm boy wouldn't like movies about rural beauty, the gratification of hard work, and responsible application of power
>>81938748
Adult Superman is kind of busy to be spending his time watching cartoons.
I can imagine that Wonder Woman would like stuff like Ouran, Escaflowne, and Haruhi Suzumiya. (and maybe Kenshin too?) Supergirl would be the One Piece and Naruto fangirl. (and maybe YuYu Hakusho?)
>>81939636
Obi-wan. He just hits too many of those notes from that night.
>>81939432
Luke, easily. They're both farmboys who discover something about themselves which set them as the last of the ______ and use that power to save the galaxy.
>>81939973
>triest to get the rest of the League to watch with him
>watching One Piece
>not reading
I would hope Supes is better than this
>>81940709

>>81939998
There's a story where it turns out Clark Kent wrote a book about a Superman-esque character who's a total edgelord, so it's definitely possible. I'd see it as being kind of like how abuse survivors sometimes get into absurdly over-the-top dark stuff - they've been through it themselves, so they know it's all just stupid bullshit for fun.
