I worry for the future of characters like Superman, his media representation has been lackluster for quite some time and WB went as far as to tighten their grip on the trademark "Superman" resulting in virtually every icecream company dropping the flavor "Superman" and re-titling it "Galactic" or something like that.
Marvel keeps building more and more brand recognition with characters most people didn't know of or care about and DC keeps squandering properties that were once household staples.
