Eh, I mean I think heroes/citizens in the MCU would see him as a supervillain still in some respects. I mean Cyclops was under the thrall of the Phoenix but I don't think anyone would hesitate to say that he was corrupted by it too. He would definitely (ironically) be more innocent than the majority of the team. I think he'd also be really impressionable at this point in his career. And on a team with known leaders and manipulators (Cyclops, Zemo, Quicksilver) who all might want to mold him a bit I think Robbie coming out of such an experience would be fundamentally changed in a very interesting way.

Am I the only one who hates Spider-man on the Avengers? He doesn't fill any niches that I couldn't think of a more classic Avenger couldn't fill. I also appreciated the fact that Marvel's major franchises weren't so intermingled as to be homogenized. You could have the Avengers, X-men, Fantastic Four, Spider-man, Hulk, etc. all as distinct realms of story.
