It starts slow but gets better and they even drop the procedural format.
I like the characters and I think it's nice they are showing how Bruce grew into the Batman, it finally shows some of the humanity of the character which has been a lacking factor in recent years.
Also watching Gotham becoming more and more crazy without the "It's Batman's fault!" theme that has been pushed in these recente years
I enjoyed it from the second episode. Think it's good all the way through.

That was the last one I watched, I liked how it showed the beginnings of the "freaks" - i.e the weird low power villains that Gotham produces - without him being a thing post Batman or being too OTT. I hope for more stuff like that.

It's a fantastic elseworlds tale that nails the mix of 60's camp with burtonesque gothic that Schumacher failed to do.
It has what I feel the DC movies lack. A sense of joy. Which is odd given how gloomy everything is in the show, but it just has a sense of fun.
Which isn't to say I want the DC movies to be campy as fuck, but I just think this show proves that its perfectly possible to do capeshit with joy and fun without making it a comedy or a quipfest a la Marvel
And I say that as a fan of the Marvel films.

She's Will Smith's wife and during those episodes she had no purpose to be in the show, so she was probably given a solo arc just to give her screen time.
By the way, apparently The Mary Sue hated Gotham and only watched it for Babs and Fish, both of who were the fucking worst. When Fish left the show they got mad, and when Babs got "fixed" they got incredibly pissed.

I kind of feel like Bruce should be a bit more into his self defense training now, while he's still a little kid. The earlier he focuses on that shit, the more believable (however slightly) it is that he becomes this master ninja martial artist who takes down Gotham's mobs in the future. So far, we've only seen him train twice.
He's apparently gotten very good at sneaking up on people, though.

you don't have to be a master ninja martial artist to beat people up. Personally, I never liked the whole "Bruce went to the Mysterious East to be trained by ninjas and became a ninja," which just reeks of Frank Miller.
I actually prefer him just being trained by Alfred and learning to take hits. It also plays into Burton's Batman pretty well, who was never a flippy speedy ninja. BurtonBats had a lot more of a plodding and weighty combat style - he was a brawler, not a kung fu expert. Sort of like Darth Vader.

This. Gordon isn't a guy that could have worked with Lee. She didn't understand his sense of duty. She tried to seem supportive but she was a lot like Barbara was in the first part of season 1- she wanted him to run away and leave everything. He can't do that.
