Kingdom Come is honestly one of the tamer stories. It can be adapted with a large enough budget.

I'm not auctualy sure how they will make the killing joke work simply because the story's really just to short to make a movie of.
I sometimes think the sheer mindfuckery that is the latter half of 'the invisibles' as well as the ridiculousness that is 'the filth' (pictured) are so that they could never be ripped off by the wachowski brothers like the early invisibles stories were.
Seriously though you couldn't adapt the filth. not in any way i can imagine.

I personally find the later ones waaaay more esthetically pleasing.
The originals give it a psychodelic flare which is nice, of course, and I do value that they're the first ones... But let's be honest here: everyone should be delighted with the recolor, and I cannot stress this enough: It's how the drawer wanted them to be

I hinestly want to see a an adaptation of Morrison's Animal Man, but instead of it being straight up about comics, the movie would be about Superhero movies. The director would play himself and talk to Buddy about how the studio is putting pressure on him about the project, and how they have to nail the Chinese market and how if they fail the whole thing will get rebooted again, etc.
