I am going to reiterate on my post a bit. The art of good storytelling & film making often comes down to conveying a world or theme in an elegant and efficient way. Take the opening shot of Starwars as a really good example. It demonstrates the power dynamics between the 2 warring factions in a single shot. Now, I'm not implying that Starwars was a the pinnacle of anything, just an example of good context.
These animations are nice but they feel as if the createors are cramming in everything they can without actual thought to good filmmaking or storytelling. It feels more about self-insertion and creating 'Mah OC'.
