as i understand it they largely went to a local acting college and held auditions. there were one or two others with experience (pretty sure daria was the same daria as she was in beavis and butt-head) but most of them were students. the guy who voiced trent has never done anything else ever again

i remember when i first discovered it, and thought it was a fantastic concept.. fans continuing a show on their own! the story never dies!
except what i discovered was an old gargoyles fansite (well it wasn't old at the time) run by a particularly talented, cooperative, and well-read fandom who wrote good fanfics. after that nothing else ever lived up to the standard.
Are there any cartoons that have the mean girl as the protagonist? They always end up being the funniest character to me, no matter what show.
