Crossed is one of, if not THE, edgiest comic book ever published, but i gotta admit Wish You Were Here was amazingly good. It has its share of meme moment like the dolphin fucking, but the characters are great and the plot is interesting enough.

It's really different in a way that it never really focus on the gore porn but more about everything around it. Moore stepped down on the selling point of Crossed and asked himself how a society could rebuild itself after an apocalypse. The whole story was around the social aspect of the universe and it was just really interesting. Kinda like reading a history book. It also helps that I have a major in history.

It is a piss-take of some of the stupid shit that has happened in crossed and a hilarious one. WYWH is about people who are jaded, seeing a zombie rape a dolphin in the blowspout or something equally retarded is now a weekly occurence, spurrier is integrating the more bizarre aspects of crossed into his story in a funny way instead of pretending they dont exist

Last decent arc was the Kieron Gillen one, primarily because it was more than just the generic "assholes dysfunctionally cohabitate until they turn on each other" plot that has been driven into the ground.
The current storyline with Smokey has been alright so far. The crossover with Mercury Heat is... I'm not really digging it.
