There are only two musical numbers in the movie and they implement them in different ways.
"Bear Necessities" is done like an impromptu jam session between Mowgli and Baloo and feels really casual.
"I Wanna Be Like You" is the only number that feels "broadway", but it really works with the scene and their interpretation of Louie (mainly because Walken is so fuckin based). Some critics thought it was out of place with the rest of the movie, but I loved it.
"Trust in Me" is played over the credits, and Scarjo's cover is boner inducing.

I didn't notice until my friend pointed it out after the movie that the first thing Mowgli picks up in the temple is a cowbell. Also, that song completely fucked with the tone of that scene. The film as a whole fell kinda flat and I felt like the CG failed to capture Bill Murray's (and a lot of the other actor's) presence.

Just a heads up, the only song you hear in the actual film is King Louie's, Bill only mumbles a little bit of Bear Necessities. Also, avoid 3D like the plague.
