Realistically, should the Justice League allow Billy, aka Shazam into the Justice League? He is still a child despite his superhuman adult form.

>Realistically
>>81894935
He lied about his age if i remember, they thought his relationship with courtney was kinda pedophillic even though hes actually younger than her
>>81895492
Yeah, that's the reason to why they broke up.
>>81894935
Realistically, Justice League should not exist, and neither should Shazam.
>>81894935
Yes, a child with that much power should have people like the Justice League helping to steer him in the right direction. It's better to keep him close than to have a 10 year old with the power of Superman flying around unsupervised.
>>81895492
It's also weird how he was like 14 and she was 17 at the time. Specially since Billy is always drawn kind of short to accentuate the kid/adult duality.
No. Young Justice or bust.
>>81894935
>Billy will never be your enemy
Why even
>>81894935
>The Wisdom Of Solomon
Yes they should. Billy also keeps the league honest. Zac Snyder could use a taste of Billy
>>81894935
Am I the only one who dislikes the fact that DC has made Captain Marvel Tom Hanks' "Big" as a superhero? Fawcett Captain Marvel (and some DC interpretations, like Ross' or Smiths') didn't make Marvel just a boy in a man's body. When Batson turns into Marvel, he's a full grown man with an adult mentality. Like seriously, why do I want SuperRetard?
>>81900643
If Snyder used Captain Marvel as the wise moral compass, they would just make Superman more of an ass for contrast and conflict probably.
>>81901727
I think it's because making him a boy in a man's body is both more unique (which is very important when he now has to share a bunk with Superman) and easier to explain. It also makes him work better as a power fantasy for kids - it's a lot cooler to be Captain Marvel than to be the guy who swaps places with him.
There's certainly something to be said for the other interpretation, but I'm rather reminded of Miracleman, which pointed out that having another "you," who's exactly the same only smarter, fitter, and with superpowers, wouldn't be fun so much as incredibly emasculating.
>>81894935
>aka Shazam
Ayy
And no, he should not be allowed if the league knows about his age.
>>81894935
If the gods approve of him.
The league better approve of him
>>81895492
Are you implying that if the woman is not the minor its not pedophilic?
I like how different writers interpret his powers
Its interesting to see how Wisdom of Solomon can mean a boost in morality or a stronger control over yourself from temptation. All that depends is how the writer chooses to interpret it
>>81901727
Because then what's the point of making him a kid?
You pretty much get rid of the only thing that separates him from Superman and eliminate a lot of interesting ideas for stories
If you want a Superman analogue, then make a Superman analogue. Don't tear down what has been built up by years of storytelling as a unique creation of fiction
>>81902239
The League thought Billy was older than Courtney at the time
Reminder that Wonder Woman took Captain Marvel's virginity
>>81904667
Does that count as /ss/?
>>81901727
Because the most interesting aspect of Captain Marvel's personality is that he is a just a good kid trying to be a good man.
That and the fact that he is allowed to have some more light hearted adventures since he isn't poor Supes, with writers desperate to "descontruct" you or "make yo relevant again".
>>81904667
When?
>>81905923
>Guy missing Billy
Aww, what a shame.
>>81894935
An indestructible child with the power of a god and Solomon in his ear
>>81905920
I don't remember
