I, a totally anonymous person, feel this will be the greatest comic book show of all times and everyone will enjoy my, I mean Mr Seth Rogan who I totally am not's greatest work to be remembered for all time and the gold standard.
Don't really care, her race wasn't important and this is only roughly based on the comics anyway as far as I can tell. More than, say, iZombie or Lucifer are related to their comics for sure, but still a fairly loose adaptation.

I'm really interested in this show. Id be far more interested if it seemed more closely adapted to the source material. And i feel they bitched out with arseface. But the stuff i've seen about the show seems great. I love the casting on Custer, Tulip, and Cassidy. I get why cassidy doesn't have the sunglasses. You get an actor with eyes that fucking expressively wild looking, nah you don't hide them.
I'm hoping we get herr star, the saint of killers, and most importantly odin quincannon at some point. But this shit has peaqued my interest.

Not that important. The Texan aspect isn't as important as the fact she likes to drink and shoot guns, which is certainly not limited to white people. The issue about her dad probably makes less sense, but it's not unsalvageable. It takes a really unimaginative mind to take one look at her character and go "this could never be a black person."

Because people enjoy diversity. It makes those who want it happy and only pisses off a small number of people. Since the story wont be damaged in any way by having the character not be entirely white they can cast whoever they want regardless of race and not worry about having an all single race cast so called 'progressives' might take issue with.

I don't actually know what that is, so i'll have to see what if anything they change and then bitch about how that is clearly what makes that character 'that character'.
