So, /co/, now that Homestuck has ended and I fucking hate it now, what are some web comics with interesting universes/Worlds/concepts/whatever that I can get disappointed at?
Rice Boy is excellent, one of the best webcomics ever made and with a satisfying ending. It's set on a disc-shaped world without any humans, populated by a lot of strange denizens.
Unsounded has some pretty solid worldbuilding; it might seem like generic fantasy at first but it has a very unique form of magic and a pretty weird afterlife sort of deal. This one's still ongoing.
Digger is about a talking wombat that mysteriously finds herself in an Indian temple talking to a statue of Ganesh. Unable to get home, she must unravel the truth behind why her hole won't take her back.
i missed the reaction to the ending, link to archived thread please?

Thanks man. Rice Boy looks especially interesting. but I'll check out the other two as well.
>>81828620
I don't have the thread sadly but I do have this
Paranatural is pretty good. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, the premise feels FLCL by way of Gravity Falls, but the actual tone of the comic is way different.
Or, you know, /co/ could actually fucking deliver for once and make their own webcomic.
It Hurts!

Sluggy Freelance
Schlock Mercenary.
Kid Radd (actually has a great ending).
Gunnerkrigg Court is quite good, if you aren't reading it already. It's ongoing currently but it has a set update schedule.
It has a lot of deep worldbuilding and a lore-heavy plot but it kind of suffers similar issues that Homestuck has in that the author is very prone to long self-indulgent tangents in his writing.

Questionable Content
:^)
>>81829677
Yeah, I'd say its content is pretty fucking questionable.
>>81829448
Paranatural seems pretty cool.
>>81829496
I read a few pages and it's... certainly different.
>>81829585
Kid Radd was great. I'll check out those other two as well.
>>81829646
Ahh. Well I heard good things about it so I'll check it out.
Thank you all very much.
Some random new ones for me...
Ava's Demon: In a space age universe where a religion-like company rules, demons are real and haunt people, trying to get their human to fulfill the demons' pacts so they can rest in peace.
Power Nap: In a post-sleep society where working 20 hours a day is the expected, a man who is allergic to the "Z-supplement" medication that makes sleep obsolete has very interesting dreams with real-world implications.
The Last Halloween: Every human has a patron monster, who comes into existence when the human is born, and stalks them throughout their life. The only thing protecting everyone from their monsters is a being with control over them, The Phagocyte.

Was going to mention Paranatural! So good. Zack's artwork and writing has only gotten a lot better and it starts off strong as well

>Kid Radd
>(actually has a great ending).
:`( ... yes, yes it does though. Great comic

Kill Six Billion Demons
>>81828310
IT HURTS!
We got [SPOILER] and [EVEN BIGGER SPOILER!].
>>81829954
Keep in mind this guy was never included in the comic, and was just a rough concept.
>>81829954
This guys knows what's up.
>>81828310
Erfworld is about a basement dweller who gets sucked into a world based on strategy games (kinda Civ style) and fights himself fighting for ostensibly the bad guys. The world is really well fleshed out, with a neat magic system and makes really effective use of pop culture references.
There's a meaty backlog but its text/comic hybrid so if you don't like reading, it might not be a good pick.
>>81829833
I know people always say this kind of shit, but you have to read through more than a few strips of It Hurts to "get it". It's worth it, trust me.
What's a good webcomic with a male protagonist?
>>81835994
Unsounded.
>>81832059
Eh, I gave up on Erfworld when it couldn't stick to one artist and kept on having text-only updates.
Shout out to Order of the Stuck. Quality stuff.
>>81828310
kill six billion demons
poppy o'possum
>>81835994
Cucumber Quest
>>81837079
either kill six billion demons is that good or someones same fagging pretty hard, guess doesn't matter going to check it out
>>81829954
The problem with k6bd is the name is better than the comic (also the art is better than the comic)
>>81829496
The main characters look like bling bling boy and Johnny test.
>>81838320
it picked up a lot of fans during the high-stakes drinking competition

If you're into situational and surrealistic comedy, then I may recommend stuff by Thorsby. Starting from Hitmen for Destiny (crude artstyle warning). Space Spy kinda drags on, but has some interesting settings; it in the way suffers from so-called "second installment syndrome". Lies, Sisters and Wives is short real-world interlude without any "universe" to speak of, but it is short enough to read in a meantime. Brain Chip is much denser in plot and writing. And then, there's another ongoing comic in a kind of pseudo-fantasy setting.
Are there any good webcomics without lesbians and gay shit?
>>81840195
Don't want to catch the gay, anon.
>>81840379
Nah, just sick of it lately.
>>81840195
Same here. Could you imagine if every webcomic felt it was necessary to include a blind, deaf or wheelchair-bound character to be "inclusive"?
>>81840435
That's fair, it has felt kinda shoehorned lately. Sorry, I'm a refugee from /fit/, it's just been riddled with /pol/ lately, so I'm jumpy about hearing about degeneracy and shit.
>>81840669
I'm burnt out from Homestuck's forced gayness. It all gets so old.
>>81828310
>web comics with interesting universes/Worlds/concepts/whatever that I can get disappointed at?
Let me tell you about Goats.
God is dead, and the whole multiverse is running on Woody Allen's laptop. But due to a software bug, it'll all come crashing down on December 21, 2012.
I admit that it's been a while since I read it. The author went full retard a few years ago and I don't think it was ever finished. But it's very similar to Homestuck, for better or worse.
>>81840195
Continuing from above, Goats is relatively old. I don't recall any gay shit.
>>81841072
That man is a rapist
waterworks
>>81841072
>>81841144
I'm talking about Woody Allen, to clarify
It might not have been common knowledge back when this comic was made
>>81841197
Is that still going?
Actually, are any fan adventures besides prequel still going?
