I haven't watched the new episode yet but I have watched all of the previous episodes thus far. Too many Buttercup episodes. The girls are more selfish behind their motives and the villains are less threatening. The best episode was the one with Bianca Bikini and her sister Barbie.
I don't understand the objection to the new voices.
They're pretty much the same, if not an improvement.
The girls are much more cynical than before and the voices capture it well.
Bubble's VA should stick to speaking her gook language because she sounds absolutely repulsive speaking English.

Buttercup's type of tomboy personality is pretty much a common trope among cartoons to the point where they all have similar voices and music cues.
Buttercup, Rainbow Dash, Amythyst, Ashley Spinelli, Gosalyn (Darkwing Duck). They're all pretty similar. Plus MLP in general are just "generalization" personalities. The shy one, the hyper one. Even the original PPG weren't that unique in personality.
