I wanted this so much. I tried /co/ but I didn't know how or where to go. That should of been me. The past year and a half the only thing my mind wants to do is daydream what it would of been like to play Spider-Man. Be the Spider-Man/Parker all the fans have been wanting, finally being able share the screen with the rest of the Marvel universe.
I should of tried harder. It's so dumb that after you lose, you start coming up with better ideas and how to accomplish a goal you've already failed at.

They have creative control over what goes into a solo Spider-Man film, not any other pictures that features Spider-Man. More to the point, they've effectively ceded control over to Marvel and are collecting checks.
Now sure, they could use their executive veto and fuck shit up, and yes this is Sony so that could very well happen, but I have at least some hope they've learned to swallow their pride and shut the fuck up when someone's giving them access to the goose that lays the golden egg.

I wanted to be Spider-Man in everything too, do Agents of Shield and the Netflix stuff. Be the web that holds the MCU together. Be the guy who's reads the comics and does justice to the character, not just phoning it in for a paycheck and splash cover on People Magazine.
