The writing lacks anything special at all, is pretty much just lazy pandering, and he adds "alt text" to the bottom of every page as if it's also a webcomic. It's also abundantly clear that he almost exclusively wrote dialogue and put very little, if any, effort into the other aspects of writing for a comic book.
Ryan is good at writing dialogue and nothing fucking else, and even then he's only good at writing ironic bullshit, so he's absolutely useless for anything that's not dinosaur comics.
