Well, the anime adaptation of Part 4 is upon us, so JoJo circlejerking is in full swing, especially since this is the arc famously responsible for Duwang. I do question it's presence in /Co/ though. Also, fanbase definitely had a negative impact on this series.

The thing about JoJo is that there are several Jojos, spanning several generations, each with their own arc and main villain. For the most part, they are almost independent except for some recurring characters. It's actually okay to start at any of the arcs from Part 1 to 4, we're presently at Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable, which is pretty popular. Part 2: Battle Tendency was pretty fun as well.

It really is. Have you seen Jojo threads on /a/ before the 2012 anime? They were very relaxed, chill and typically just discused the new manga chapters whever they came out.
Now it's a fucking 24/7 general that's filled with cancer, and outside of 4chan you have all these people who jumped on the bandwagon who act like WRRRRYYY is a hot new meme despite probably being more than half their age. Just go to the vevo pages of whatever song that the anime happened to have used for an ED, they've completely taken over the comments.
Jojo really deserves better than this, but I guess it's the price you pay for having an extremely popular and faithful anime adaptation.
