Very imaginative world.
I love how in the first few episodes, the humans are at war and losing, but then they get protection from what is essentially the the alien in UN, so long as they participate in this top secret event that involves star racers. And there's this whole conspiracy, and the army is involved, and pretty much the fate of the entire planet rides the humans fulfilling their their part of the deal.
And then once they get there, all the aliens are treating it like this is some state fair, and keep ribbing the humans about being the new kids on the block.
Still the best animated series in my book(with symbionic titan being the 2nd). I highly doubt I'll ever find a series better than this

I loved watching it as a kidwith my grandmaand she still remembers the series fondly and mentions it sometimes. it was like a secret thing where I would stay at her place on days it would air and we would watch the newest episode together. it was great

THe last part one Oban itself could have been fleshed out a bit more. I wanted more info on the other racers and satisfiying ends for all of them.
