I mean come on. Some versions of Killer Frost come with a straight up escape clause that makes her turn back to normal when she absorbs enough heat. You guys love making Barry's friends into recurring villains. This should be a fucking no-brainer.

The looming threat of Caitlyn going Killer Frost if she doesn't step back would be a cool element that the show doesn't have. Imagine if your best friend could flip out and start killing people if you didn't watch her closely; imagine the kind of trust issues that would spring up.
Plus they already showed that they might still be able to get through to KF and that she's not too shabby against Speedsters, so she'd also add the possibility of a super-dangerous secret weapon that nobody wants to use
