>I know, Lana dear.. we must comfort each other!
Indeed
I really love the ending to this story.

If it was that easy to just go back to Krypton, why bother living on earth at all?
The letters page appeared before the third part of the story in my scans. I don't know if that was how it was originally printed or just an error in the scan order.
And now for some advertisements

I imagine it has something to do with the story Lyla Lerrol was in. But I haven't read that one yet.
That was wicked. I love the logic where supergirl is able to freely travel in time, so instead of just prevent supes from going near the meteor she goes back to krypton looking for the cure.

Not to mention the Legion could have just done that, right?

Because time travel never ends up well.
Just look at the time that Loistried to marry Jor El so she would get Superman all to herself.

>I'm the fudge judge!
Could you imagine the horrors of a silver age superman in today's world? Just casually digging up the desert, moving mountains, scarring the moon and melting the ice caps to, by some misunderstood logic, make the world better?
>>81726634
From what I can tell of silver age logic, is that time travels at same rate in past, present and future.
So if, say, it's been two months since you last traveled to the future, and you go back, two months will have passed there since your last visit too.
That looks to be why they also never run into other versions of themselves also travelling in time.
It seems like this entire story is begging to have some Red Son-esque logic applied to it, what with Clark and pals permanently disfiguring the earth and then "lel not dead jk XD"

Where did he find the time to go around the world when he's so busy being delicious?
>>81734305
>Superman melted the antarctic ice caps
>meaning that sea level would rise
>Meaning that there'd be more water available
>Water that could be used to irrigate all the deserts
THAT MANIAC THOUGHT HIS PLANS THROUGH.
In reality the increase in Earths average albedo and the temperature increases in general would probably cause enormous hurricanes to range across the world, destroying much of civilization.
Thanks OP
This should be a weekly thing, I rarely get the chance to read Superman comics
The whole time I was expecting Superman to just be a hypochondriac. I mean naturally it wasn't "virus x" but I thought it would be NOTHING.
Fun story.
