In fact, one of the earliest examples I can remember was from Ennis's Knights run, where there's a bunch of vigilantes targeting various criminals. one is an axe-murderer priest who frank calls a psycho for getting guys who seem to honestly want to repent, there's a rich guy killing "gutter trash" that come in his neighborhood, that frank dismisses as a nazi, and sure, okay, but the last guy on the list is killing corrupt corporate executives, and the thing he does that frank deems as worthy of murdering for as the other two is a bullet of his went through a wall and struck a cleaning lady.
