ive been a dc fan for a while and i started reading some more batman i was wondering has batman ever met joe chill in actual canon ive seen it in else world stories but not in main continuity
Batman Issue #47, wherein Batman reveals Joe Chill his secret ID. Joe flees, tells some crooks about it and the kill him for being the guy that basically MADE Batman.
That's Pre-Crisis so I guess it's not exactly canon anymore, but it's not like it was an Elseworld's story.
