I don't know. I guess the ambassador one is the one I'm most familiar with. But it's more obvious than Clark Kent is Superman when I think about it. I don't know how that worked at all. But I really liked the public figure aspect to her, that she was giving speeches and encouraging women in the "outside" world to be stronger and more independent. Being an inspiration and motivational speaker and shit like that. But it's crazy because NO WAY do two dark haired girls roughly the same height both come from an Island but OH they're totally two different people.
But now I guess it would make more since for her to be an actual ambassador for the Island. She's constantly going back and forth, having meetings with NATO and the UN, working out peace agreements and trade deals for Themyscira and talking over negotiations for Hippolyta. As the Amazons are now a known people and recognized country or some thing.

I've always thought Diana having a secret identity only worked for her to try and gain a first hand understanding of Man's world without all the trappings of being Wonder Woman. Diana Prince should be more a Matches Malone identity and less a Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent.

I kinda liked the idea of Headmistress Diana Prince from "Justice League: A Midsummer's Nightmare," but since that was an identity she had when she believed she was a normal human, it wouldn't work for someone who fran an entire school to run off whenever the world was in crisis. Still, maybe having her secret identity being a high school teacher would work pretty good, IMHO.

I mean, who cares, anyway? She's never had an important or defined alter-ego, why should she get one tacked on now? Bruce Wayne has always been an important part of Batman, and so has Clark Kent with regard to Superman. Diana Prince has never been an important part of Wonder Woman.
Also, her whole truth schtick is completely at odds with her having a secret identity.
