I just find "My Own Evil Universe Clone" storylines to be awful in general.
It is inevitably the women being evil vampy sluts and the men being sociopaths to a cartoonish degree.
Crisis on Two Earths ALMOST avoided this, with Owlman being interesting and Superwoman being a real sociopath, but then they also had to make her a mega-slut (for tradition's sake?).
Evil Superman was never really more interesting than Good Superman, and less so after they repeatedly flogged the concept to death.

Crisis on Two Earths really suffered from it's short runtime. Ultraman as working class turned superpowered mafioso would have made for a great comparison to Superman if they explored him more.
