For me it’s Adrian Alexander Veidt aka "Ozymandias" – intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.
Is there a more well written super genius than Veidt? Like everytime I see a super genius, rarely do their plans blow me away, and their genius always seems to be told rather than shown. Rereading the comic knowing who's behind it all, really makes you appreciate Veidt's planning.

>I'm not a Republic serial villain
>I did it 35 minutes ago
I always lose my mind over that line. It's so good

>Is there a more well written super genius than Veidt?
Yes. All of them.

One of the most powerful lines in that book, fuck. I need to reread the comic, it's so fucking good.
Thread related.

but most comic book super villains are awful desu and their plans are always mega retarded
For me it’s Cletus Kasady aka "Carnage" – intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.

So was his. The movie version is already bad, but the comic book version was fucking retarded.
Any non-poorly written super genious would've come up with something that didn't wasn't a total wildcard and that didn't cost millions of lives.
POSSIBLE HOMOSEXUAL

I'm not implying the movie came first, before any of you fanboys attempt to strawman
>>81642606
Way to miss the point of that, lol. And no, there literally was no other solution at the time but cause casualties and taking attention away from the war. I'm not saying he was justified or that I agree with his plan, but there was literally nothing else that could be done to halt the incoming war.
As for it being silly, it was just a homage to silver age comics at the time. It makes hella more sense than blaming Dr M for it. Which I'm dumbfounded so many people think that was a better idea than using a foreign threat.

Well I don't think you know what a strawman is

...And a folder labeled "boys" on his computer

Bubastis is a girl for a reason. Veidt can't connect with humans.

>there literally was no other solution at the time
Only because the writer wanted an asspulled "le morally grey" scenario.
