Dumb plotlines thread?
>Dr Doom was living in the Fantastic Four's carpet for 5 issues
Mini worlds hidden within the framework of mundane objects are awesome though
What chapter is that?

>dumb storyline
>Doom
Pick 2. It's harder to find good storyline with that guy. Even when it looks great at first it hits the "wow cancelled next issues must wrap it up" bullshit all the fucking time.
>The miniseries details Insane Clown Posse's attempts to stop a demon named Killnor from destroying a priest named Father Jesus, who possesses miraculous healing powers.[2] Killnor summons the undead duo Twiztid, a crazed police SWAT team, and a host of demonic minions to stop the clowns. Insane Clown Posse call upon the assistance of the Joker's Cards to overcome the minions. An all-out showdown takes place at the demon's earthly headquarters with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance of the Pendulum.

>Sue didn't vacuum for five issues.
this shit right here
>It's a micro-universe

>And they are coming for---YOU!
That one where Clark Kent wrote a song about Superman, not realizing that the first letter of each line spelled out "Clark Kent". So then he had to make sure the song didn't become popular, because then everyone would realize that Clark Kent is Superman. Why else would the writer of a song hide his own name in a song he wrote about Superman?
>>81629338
I bet Zack Snyder would have butchered it if he got to adapt it.
>>81629425
ahahahaha
>>81629425
Poor Clark, rendered paranoid because any time anything remotely linking him to Superman happened he'd have Lois harping on at him about it until he could prove her wrong

>That entire description
silver age DC is cheating.

holy kek

True, true.
Their entire writing process was "Artist draws batshit insane cover, writer writes story to justify wackiness.
>>81630225
wasn't it the editor who used to come up with the cover?

this imfamous cover is about a super stupid plot too. Jimmy is an orphan and Superman accept to adopt him. but then he reads on some super computer that his son isgoing to die and since he doesn't want to break Jimmy's heart, he decide to be a dick to him until he asks the judge to cancel the adoption. Then they discover there was a fucking TYPO on the computer and it wasn't "son" but "sun" and he instead had to hurry to save some other world dying sun or something. then everybody laugh or something.
>>81630347
this cover is like archie with superpowers
>>81630347
Yeah, he was doing it to save Jimmy. Not because he's a dick
The sad part is that this story is better than when Asterix had Superman in its own book.
It's actually decent and would provide a satisfying end to the story too.

Silver Age Fantastic Four had pretty weird stuff
>Rama-Tut rescues Dr. Doom and because they both have time machines they both immediately assume that they must be the same person even though neither of them remembers being the other
>Lex Luthor goes back in time and travels through space to become Superman's father so that when he returns to the present, Superman will be unable to stop him because he wouldn't fight his own father for some reason
Why not just stop Superman being born. Or send him to another planet. Why not go back in time on Earth and rule the past with your super knowledge. Why not do literally anything else.

>I FUCKED YOUR MOTHER SUPERMAN
>Don't you recognise me?! I'm your pal from the future!
>that time Wolverine became a caveman
>>81631179
Ah, Rama-Tut. You are the scrubiest of all Kangs.
>>81628814
Oh shit, it's an Elf!
>>81630184
>that whole fucking webm
>>81631179
>But if we're the same man then how can be co-exist in the same moment in eternity
That really is the perfect cap to that retarded exchange. Two time-travellers not being able to handle the concept of being in the same time-span as their non-time-travelling self.

>that time Wolverine's entire life was orchestrated by a man who evolved from wolves rather than apes
I still don't understand that shit.
Any story where Jimmy disguised himself (entirely too well) as a girl
