You now realize there is not a single noteworthy female in DC or Marvel who practices Super Science.
Protip:Sue Sue, Janet van Dyne, and any other female that is primarily a character through being married to a male super genius doesn't count.
Jan's a fashion designer bro
There are some lady super science bad guys right
>>81601394
Doctor Light?
Too bad they dragged Valeria. She could've been a nice female Doom.
>>81601394
Does it has to be super genius ?
Mockingbird had a phd in chemistry, i think and there must be some inteligent female mutant in the x-men roster
Monica Rappaccini led AIM
>>81601491
Yeah, Kitty's smart as fuck and there's like Moira MacTaggert
>>81601491
Unfortunately I think Sage was the smartest female X-man
Does Poison Ivy count?
>>81601629
>I'm literally incapable of choosing the right images
oops
>>81601531
>Kitty's smart as fuck
Could have been a scientist or a politician.
Instead she became a dropout because she's Whedon's waifu.
>>81601675
tfw no stories about Kitty in Congress fighting for mutant rights
and then fucking Bendis had like Dazzler as president or some shit
>>81601394
Felicity Smoak
>>81601394
>You now realize there is not a single noteworthy female in DC or Marvel who practices Super Science.
Just like in real life.
>>81601567
Originally, she might have, as she use to make her crazy plants grow by pure science. Lately however it's meta-human powers.
>>81601454
I wasn't aware she did any super science.
>>81601491
Yes the point is, no female super scientists. Plenty of female regular scientists, though again, most are supporting cast.
>>81601500
Super villain, but I'll give you that one. 1 Point to anon. Still, she is hardly noteworthy or famous.
>>81601531
By normal human standards Kitty is smart, but she can't hold a candle to Beast, or any other Super Scientist.
>>81601739
I said note worthy!
>>81601394
monica rambeu
valeria will be mister fantastic+doom combined eventually
Bobbi Morse
Superia
Ruby Tuesday
>>81601854
Why do you think I said noteworthy?
>>81601394
Isn't Valeria's thing being smarter than everybody
>>81601885
I had to google all of these names.
>>81601394
There is one that comes to mind.
Here's a hint, it starts with an R and she is closely associated with a day of the week.
>>81601926
because you dont read marvel comics
my powerlevel isnt even high
>>81601752
Super Science is not a real field of science anon.
>>81601885
Monica's a scientist?
I thought she was a Coast Guard or something.
>>81601926
>not knowing Ruby Tuesday
>not knowing your joke villains
>>81601854
Why did you think I said felicity?
>>81601394
What about Valeria? Bitch outsmarts Reed and Doom at age 4.
>>81601926
Read comics then, you would know them if you read them /tv/ fag
>>81601957
you are right, im confusing her with the visual similar Iron Maiden from an alt universe
>>81601394
Ultimate Sue was a biologist. She dead though.
>>81601437
Ultimate Jan was a scientist
That didn't stop her from getting cannibalized though lmao
>>81601394
Sue Storm is a scientist independent of Reed, you dumb fuck.
Anyway:
Engineer
Sue Storm
Valeria Richards
Moon Girl
Danger
Kavita Rao
Lucia von Bardas
Jemma Simmons
Moira MacTaggart
Those are all off the top of my head.
>>81601394
Dr. Ho junior doesn't count for you, right?
Does Cassandra Nova count as a super-intellect? She manipulated sentinel tech and her own genetics like it was nothing
>>81602108
Is 616 Sue a scientist? I know she was in Ultimate, but I don't know if they ever really retconned her old origin
>>81601394
That is because there is not enough suspense of disbelief in the world to make anyone think that a woman would be capable of super science.
>>81601854
She's stronger than all of us
>>81602243
that pic is bs
math benefits a lot from both methodical language processing and intuition, and most women are shit at it
>>81601394
To be fair, I don't honestly think the audiences would like a superhero simply because she can invent things. Super Science Heroes are pretty gay. All of them suffer from the Reed Richards is Useless Problem, and the writers have to come up with BS reasons why they can't change the world for the better or at least a large population of people.
You know, except Peter Parker, whose inventions were only usually slightly better than current technology for public use, or Doom, who is ironically a villain yet somehow gets away with helping his entire countrymen live Dubai-levels of luxury.
Also, I think there was a female Iron Woman rip-off (like all popular male heroes), but she died, I think.
>>81602336
There is also a difference in white and gray brain matter, men has a lot more white matter which is used to process logic things, not to mention that women use both their brain halves to process language whereas men only use one, because the other half of their brain is specialized for, you guessed it logic.
The women who actually excel at math or logical tasks like chess are the ones who learns it as a form of language interpretation.
>>81602336
intuition as in knowing what someone is feeling you retard!
>>81602036
A self-confessed shallow character died a shallow death. It's quite fitting.
>>81601394
Monica Rappanchi, for a long time big shot in AIM
>>81602235
During Fraction's run they retconned her to have phd.
>>81602429
>Also, I think there was a female Iron Woman rip-off (like all popular male heroes), but she died, I think.
That was Maggie Thatcher, the Iron Lady.
>Killer Frost.
>Poison Ivy.
>Cheetah.
>Power Girl (Titans).
>Caitlin Fairchild
>Giganta
>Dr. Light
>just to name a few
>>81601926
WOW
Fuck you, kid
>>81601885
>>81601964
It's Thursday.
>>81601394
SCIENCE! characters came out of the 1960s, a time when women didn't want to be veterinarians let alone astrophysicists. How many *male* characters who do SCIENCE! have been introduced in the past couple of decades?
And yes, your same cherrypicking limitations apply here as well. Noteworthy noteworthy noteworthy noteworthy!
