Sounds like some bad writers want a slice of Steven Universe's popularity without any comprehension of what makes SU good. They probably think it's "subtext" when a romance novel uses a word like "meat wand".
I just don't care. I feel like the guy from I Am Legend, this isn't my world anymore.

If it's decently written and entertaining, I don't give a fuck what agenda they're trying to push. But most of the time if they're trying to push an agenda, the writing suffers. That's why most religious shows are awful.
