How do benches work in Zootopia?
>>
>>81566672
They have small, medium, and large benches.
>>
>>81566672
Triple reinforced, smaller animals basically just have to deal with not being able to reach them

Hey, it's not like someone else wouldn't ask a stupid question to create a dumb thread, so I'm just beating to the punch by asking a stupider question in an obvious excuse to make another general-- I mean thread.
>>
>>81566761
Did you watch the movie?
>>
>>81566761
Something something opportunity for everyone. Division of labor through surpluses, I guess. Which you could do just as well with any other sufficiently large population so the rodent district doesn't really need Zootopia, and same goes for any other species that has a high population or means to achieve it quickly.
>>
>>81566672
They are made in a factory or workshop, assembled on site, set in the ground, and secured in place.

They probably have different sizes for different species and spaces in the back where creatures can fit their tails through.

ok then, gonna answer your stupid question.
I am pretty that it would work like this: there is a big bench then next to that there is a medium sized one and then next the medium sized one there is a small one.
>>
>>81566966
Where does Goldilocks sit?
>>
Any discusion of disparate species living together will fall apart upon reaching a logical conclusion. Maybe that's why we don't see any avian species
>>
>>81566966
But where do the benches come from? Who's manufacturing them? Is the cost less or more depending on the size of the animal? Please anon these questions must be addressed immediately.
>>
>>81566984
Most likely to sit on the medium sized one.

That line reminded me too much of Cave Johnson. I like JK Simmons but I really didn't care for his voice acting here, because Lionheart didn't strike me as a unique character, just Simmons talking.

Well yeah, when J. K. Simmons talks it sounds like J. K. Simmons talking.
I mean I may have rose-tinted goggles but I love him. I just think he's kind of type-cast as that "strong and dumb authority figure" (SEE: J. J. J., Cave Johnson, Mayor Lionheart). I think the issue is that he's really good with HIS voice but it's difficult for him to change it up too much.
Watch GF at least, or Whiplash.

Only if you're an imagitionless fag. who believes a completely alien world that shares some similarities with ours must operate following the exact same set of rules our world follows which makes no sense because if said alien world shared all the rules as our world then it clearly wouldn't have developed the way it did and instead come out likes ours.

That or Zootopia Earth is a farce being perpetuated by giant robots who live on the moon trying running infinite tests of civilization to figure out a definitive answer to a question they have before sending giant robot babies to kill everything and wipe the slate clean for another batch of tests and every species in Zootopia was genetically engineered by them with modifications.

I really liked the backstory stuff with Nick's dad that the doc showed. Kinda hope they try and work it back in with a sequel, maybe tie it to why Nick wanted to join the rangers.
>Dad tries to get a loan for his Suitopia
>Keeps getting turned down because shifty fox might just run with the money etc etc
>He gets more and more worn down by the city
>One day he's gone
>Nick wants to join the Rangers to try and show people that foxes can be trustworthy and noble
And it all ends up like it did.

You know, maybe it's time to stop talking about this movie. I mean the movie itself is great. Nick is awesome, Judy is just as awesome. All the characters are nicely fleshed out and unique in their own ways. All that's wonderful.

But we're running all of that into the ground. We're going the way of /frz/. There's horsefuckers in these threads now. There's jackoffs getting their egos stroked for writing fanfiction or impersonating the voices of the characters. We've left all that is good about the fandom behind. Ahead there is only purified shit.

We don't even have the excuse of adventure time or steven universe fags where new episodes come out. We're just swimming in our own festering garbage, slowly deforming the characters the movie created into some strange amalgamation in our minds that fit into some twisted fantasy. I bet right now there is some poor sad sack in this thread trying to make a Judy tulpa.

So maybe we can take the high road. Maybe we don't need to constantly create a thread about this movie, but wait a little bit. Like start things up again when it hits Japan, or when the blu-ray comes out.

Otherwise this will turn into something horrible.
>>
>>81566730

There was just the docu a while ago, and directors are currently active in twitter answering questions. Japan will have this movie soon too. Then there's the BD coming out in June or July or something.

So these threads will still last until at least July or August. After that, it could slow down. The threads are actually slower than last month but will get spikes of activity due to related movie stuff like the docu and twitter questions, etc.

Don't worry, a lot of it is justified for now.

Judy's Dream Files are definitely kiddie. It even has a part where it encourages the kid to creatively write. I heard the handbook is kiddie too, but it does have animal trivia. Book of the film, if that's the junior novelization, is okay for all ages. It's written simply, though.

Actually, all of the books are for kids, except the Art book, and maybe the novelization.

I only know this because I've been shopping for books for my little siblings. I always try to find books that encourages her to read, and right now she likes Zootopia. Cute animals and fairies always do the trick.

Birds exist in Zootopia, but they are treated as third class citizens. They are prohibitted from entering cities because flying citizens would be unfairly advantaged and basically destroy economy, and they are regularly beaten to death.

Also they have to use cloaca collars.

I hope non-placental mammals are extra-oppressed in Zootopia:

- Monotreme eggs are considered a delicacy

- Marsupial Moles are barred access to Rodentia towns

- Running over unconscious opossums is not only legal but encouraged

- They actually wear the shock collars in the original draft for the movie

Not even Judy cares.

With a thread proposing the question "How do benches work in Zootopia?" In an attempt to mock those who over analyze such aspects of the movie you'd think people would get it and not ask those types of questions.

Even if it's not obvious in the film does it really matter whether or mot it's legal to date outside your species? Or is this an insidious way to bring up the not ship between the fox and the bunny?

Why do people obsess over this ship?

Because it's a ship that sails itself and most people (following the trend of the movie) would come to the conclusion after watching that they are most likely going to become an item.

Whether we want them to or not, the logical thing would be for them to get together, or at least TRY, it is not normal for two -single- people that have a "very strong emotional bond - byron/rich whoever tweet" and are attracted to each other, with amazing chemistry, to not at least try at a relationship unless there's a reason it's impossible, or they already have romantic interests, because honestly, what would they do at this point? wait for someone better? are you kidding? They have such good chemistry that even if they were already -married- they would cheat on their partners together.

Anyone that thinks it's normal for them to remain "just friends" has been friendzoned waaay too many times or is perhaps bitter about the happiness of others/characters. It could be they think a relationship would ruin the friend dynamic, but your lover is supposed to be your best friend too, how would that ruin or change anything besides some more intimate scenes on the side? They can't be professional on the job?

>The PLA newspaper puts forth Zootopia’s swapping of the roles of predator and prey as proof of its agitprop. In Zootopia, the villain is a sheep, its victims all predators, and the savior is a rabbit. The paper takes issue with the role reversal.

And using a donut to contain and transport a suspect is definitely not SOP and probably illegal, but that's peanuts next to her using the mafia to threaten the same character with death in exchange for information.
