What I don't want is the drama shit they've piled into the subject. I loved FP+Finn, I hated his weird kink breaking them up. Was that even needed?

I have been watching this show off an on over the years. All I have seen is the common theme of fucking Finn over. Do they have a plan to have him win at some point?
Also, why does he work for PB if the majority of the tasks she sends him on are errand boy shit? Didn't he defeat an eldritch god? I would think his time would be better spent elsewhere.
