Ha Ha
Time to NEAL ADAMS
Last month, Lex Luthor stole Superman's blood by eating it, and Kalibak kidnapped a middle-eastern child and his dog.
But many questions remain...
>Who are these mysterious three newcomers to Metropolis?
>Why did Kalibak take that kid?
>And what the fuck was up with that gargoyle that took Superman to ancient Egypt to watch Pharoah Darkseid build the pyramids?
Surely, things will make sense by the end of this issue...

Move you ass away, Lois.

>It could be a trap.
>Sure enough... it's a trap.
>The idiots fell for our trap.
>>81505704
>A trap is only a trap if it can hold its prey.
>Perhaps it's they who are in the trap.
>We'll see whose trap closes on whose prey.
I don't know why but this amuses me so.
>>81506522
It reminds me of pic related.
>>81505270
AW SHIT!!!
>>81505748
>OOOGHH, GRAVITY? GRAVITY? REALLY? UGH.
There we go.
>>81505384
Is he actually saying that or are we expected to understand that whenever he talks to the gargoyle no one can hear him?
>>81505384
The ... is really annoying
>>81505481
This is one wild page.
>>81505452
>do you have any idea how much I hate your hair
Oh, he went there.
>>81505658
A word bubble behind someone's head?
Neal really's getting a lot of freedom here.
>>81505658
>Gives Supes Stun Gun
>He just beats Parademons with it
This story just makes me grin.
>>81505527
Based Lois.
>>81505704
>Folow
Why did Neal Adams become such a terrible artist
It actually made me question if he's always been this bad and I couldn't see it
>>81505781
>MY HEAD IS BROKEN!
You're not the only one, Kalibak.
>>81505527
Everything about this page is wonderful.
>>81507519
His stuff in the 60's and 70's was different though it has its flaws. But it also had him working with a writer.
>>81505270
OH SHI-
I didn't even realize this came out today.
>>81505728
darkseid doesnt know what is Air conditioning?
>>81505452
now this is almost the classic asshole Superman the world need to know and love
>>81505330
Is that a loli Velma?
>>81507519
I dunno, overall I'd say he's actually improved slightly compared to Batman Odyssey, although it probably helps that he has less constraints here, his sort of visual craziness these days is a perfect fit for 4th World shenanigans
>>81506522
>>81506598
The whole part about knowingly going into a trap and getting mocked for it reminds me of this.
>>81508650
Yep.
>>81505270
Thank you
>>81505883
Those chains are not secure, I am triggered!
Someone give me content so it makes sense.
>>81505501
>dat ass
This makes no sense and yet it's still better than any of New 52.
Whenever I read something like Neal Adams' Batman: Odyssey or his First X-Men miniseries from a few years back, I wonder if he's just doing some next-level trolling.
But then I remember some of the stuff he wrote for Continuity Comics back in the late 1980s and early 1990s and I realize that his dialogue has always been weird and loopy and full of recurring verbal tics.
Great artist, though, even if some of his recent work is getting a bit too loose for my taste.

Zoidberg?
>>81506522
It's like dialogue from Yugioh.

I'm never ready for Adams
>>81507420
editors don't care about comics
Thanks, OP.
>>81510819
Fucking amen.
>>81505832
2nd best boy is here
Lightray when
This whole comic is a cluster fuck.
>>81519732
And it's beautiful
this kind of bizarre, convoluted, almost childlike storytelling works for superman really well.
This comic it that one panel where Superman says Luthor has become a space pirate but never mind that and put on these rocket shoes, only longer
>>81520124
That's a great way to put it.
Thank god for this comic
>>81505270
bump
>>81505359
>We are brothers. Kryptonian brothers. Brothers from Krypton. Kryptonian brothers are we.
bumping for others.
>>81505330
