Damn why do artists always make Spidey a spindly mess?
>>81495910
because he's stronger than he looks
making Spider-Man looks as strong as he is weakens his brand, especially in a setting already flooded with hypermuscle strongmen

I always though Spidey looks best when he's kind of skinny and spindly. Fits with the "imma spider" thing and his flexibility too.

But it doesn't make thematic sense when he's a grown fully matured man. The Amazing Spider-MAN part is downlplayed by being very sinewy and lithe, regardless of how amazing he is.
Of course he isn't as buff as other heroes, but he should still be reasonably sculpted, David or Adonis like. There might be arguments that too much muscle/size would interfere with him, but Kaine is (was?) Peter on steroids and was still faster, stronger, more agile, etc.

>Back in black wasnt a story of Peter finding solace and companionship in the symbiote after an assassin killed MJ and Aunt May, and the heroes turned their backs on him for exacting revenge.
Fuck that symbiote tuns you into a roidrager bunk, though.

Spidder-Guille is a great Spidey artist.
