This isn't like Undertale.People older than 13 like Zootopia
Who do you think is more emotionally mature: Nick or Judy? Nick is older, but in a lot of ways he seems like a hurt little boy who's still trying to prove the bullies didn't get to him. Judy comes across as hyper and impulsive. They both seem like they have a lot of growing to do, but Judy actually seems like the more mature one.

Where predators slaves to the prey animals at one point? Or was it the other way around?
I'd watch a movie about how Zootopia was founded, maybe like a realistic mirroring of how the USA was founded or how the Civil war really happened, which was more for personal interest rather than looking out for the fellow man.
>>81497258
Why? It's very complex and requires a lot of collaboration and cooperation from people to make it look good. It's a lot easier to watch other people do it.
>>81495740
>Draw your fursona
>>81497300
There's a pic of tribal lions and tribal Zebra coming to an agreement in front of a watering hole. It's in the concept art.
For the original script, obviously Preds back then wouldn't agree to that fucking collar bull shit. My thinking is that an event, probably a terrible one, led to the use of the shock collars on predators.
For the Movie release it's safe to assume they built up a society with little major conflict between the two types until Bellweather's plot.

>>81497509
The way it's set up, I'd imagine zootopia is actually their version of America, a country constructed purposefully, not through geography or nationality.
>>81496385
...so?
Why is it a bad thing that graphics improve?
>>81497300
In my personal headcanon it got cyclical over the course of history.
Prey outnumber predators massively, so it's not hard to see them zerg rushing Preds into submission.
Preds though have more pack-hunters and would be better at organizing themselves into strong units and building up a full-scale empire.
(Cancerous levels of faggotry ahead!)The most recent (and perhaps brutal) pred-centric empire being one founded primarily around wolves calling themselves The Romulans, after their god-emperor/founder Romulus. Their influence going so far as to begin eugenics programs which led to why there are domesticated pigs, sheep, and cows in a world without humans.
>>81497581
I think if Bellwether had succeeded the world would have went on to resemble the Hermux Tantamoq series where cats were wiped out by a mice rebellion so long ago that they've faded into myth.

>>81497542
if Zootopia is hundreds of years old, I would love to see a mockumentary of the history of their civilization, mentioning periods of struggle and war with other populations and how key figures in history managed to shape the city into what it became.
Also some species must have definitely gone extinct during zootopia's lifetime, it would be interesting to see the impact of loosing an entire segment of the population forever.
>>81497137
Those POP! figures really piss me off for some reason. Either because I always see piles of them displayed in Hot Topic, or the fact that they have the license to produce SO MANY characters with relatively high-quality materials and they choose to make the exact same facial monstrosity for every single one. If I had to do it, it would just be a short story involving a human in Zootopia who works a pretty mundane job. He's escaped public attention and scrutiny by acting casually the entire time, causing everyone to think of him as a shaved something or another. They've got more important things to do.
He doesn't know how he got there and the story would detail his struggles in this strangely familiar, but unmistakably different world.
He sometimes thinks about eating his neighbors and customers or getting eaten by his neighbors and customers.
The last line of the story would be him thinking,"I wonder where all the monkeys went."

Well there's a cheerier alternate ending idea where Nick (prodded by Judy) returns the protagonist's wallet which he pickpocketed from him several years ago (it doesn't have any cash because Nick doesn't remember how much was in it) and apologizes.
They trade a few barbs, with anon sarcastically musing how a former con artists is now with the police, god help us all, but this encounter makes him realize that while Nick has gone on and become a cop in the interim between him stealing and returning the wallet, the protagonist has just been where he's always been and has never actually left the city.
He decides to take his savings and explore this alien world.
He still won't eat bugs though.
As he leaves, he hears Try Everything play on a radio and hates how it's coming back in style because of the damn retro craze.I'm hesitant to include a scene where he briefly runs into an ex-gf because on one hand a guy's got needs and he's been in town for almost a decade. Good shit.
(I decided to just kinda draw the school play scene)
I just got the GREATEST idea on how they could do a Zootopia sequel.
hear me out... remember those 3 kids at the school play? the movie focused on how Judy grew up to become what she wanted... but what about the other two? did she became an astronaut? did he became a business man?
Why not find out? How about for the sequel the next movie focuses on one of them as they grow up and go through their own struggles to accomplish their dreams? This way they could continue to explore the world of zootopia through other perspectives and give us a big cast of characters that Disney would of course make toys of.
They wouldn't necessarily meet up but it could be interesting to see how Judy's actions also affected the other two, like maybe the business lion got denied some big deal because his bosses dont trust him for being a pred, maybe the astronaut is shown to be distrustful of a predator companion or something.
I think this could work. what about you?
>>81500440
I feel like I recognize Bogo's voice. Who is it?
>>81495636
Oh hey /pol/.
>>81500507
Honestly, I really want to see Nick and Judy more and buddy cop stuff, but this would be an awesome companion movie.
Though I especially think the Sheep has a bit more potential for struggle since astronaut is a VERY physically and mentally taxing vocation, combined with the Bellwether shit there'd be a big distrust in Sheep.

What the fuck would us Anon's even do in Zootopia? The few things us human's have going for us is our strength while being tall, having great endurance and our ability to rapidly adapt to adverse conditions.

oh yeah she was a sheep, I couldnt find a screen cap, where do you guys get your material?
>>81500507
You had to love how they used Judy's sheep friend to mask Bellwether's malevolence as people who went into the movie fresh would associate sheep as "good" because of that opening prologue.

In such a situation, anon would be a mouse, right?
>>81500112
Still, the fun of human in zootopia is their reaction when they get there.

>Though I especially think the Sheep has a bit more potential for struggle since astronaut is a VERY physically and mentally taxing vocation, combined with the Bellwether shit there'd be a big distrust in Sheep.
It's implied by Gideon (granted, not the best source) that the play was entirely Judy's idea. So the sheep and tiger might have just been assigned those dreams (note how wooden their declarations are in contrast to Judy's) for the duration of the production.
Also, Space Program probably wants to use smaller animals exclusively like mice and stuff for costs.

I was thinking that maybe at least one of them would feel inspired by Judy's determination and they decide they really would want to accomplish something big... maybe the sheep and the lion decide to switch careers respectively

>motherfucking Scar
>Third time I watch this movie in theater
>Dub version because Original one is not available in the city where I liveFrench Canadian dub is not bad at all, it's actually even good since it tries to be as closely as possible to the original version (just like any French Canadian dub in fact), but I want to watch it with the original cast now.

Holy Lisa Frank, Batman
Considering how many Disney alumni and entering students are great with color schemes (seriously, go to sites like Cal Arts and look at examples of students' work), this is stupefying.
>>81500880
Are you sure he's a tiger? Those spots look more like leopard.
>>81501291
Sorry we stole all the color from BvS anon :^)

>Zootopia, about 45 years prior to the movie
>Severe economic decline, the city government is nearly bankrupt
>Government doesn't care
>Predators take much of the blame
>Government doesn't care
>Citywide protests from both sides turn violent and cause mass destruction of property
>Crime and zooicide rates skyrocket, making it one of the more dangerous cities in that part of the world
>Through all this, the Wilde family lives in a cramped one-bedroom apartment
>Nick's grandparents both work but can barely make ends meet
>Nearly unable to pay for rent, let alone for food
>As a teenager, Nick's father works a menial job after school but hardly makes a dent in his family's expenses
>Acquaintance at work gives him the offer to sit on some "cargo", as well as deliver it
>Knows exactly what he's getting into and how his parents would respond to that line of work
>Accepts it anyway, but promises himself to leave as soon as he can
>It's not that easy
>Gets arrested and very nearly avoids a prison sentence
>Parents are severely disappointed
And so, he would never forget to remind Nick about the importance of honest work
