I cried that one time I was watching a cartoon and then I looked at myself and saw how empty I was. How much I looked at the TV, back then, and my computer later, to find something that would prevent me from thinking further and discovering anymore of what's clearly a answerless puzzle. I was so devoid of self, that even now I am nothing. Not even my half assed attempt at distraction works, or ever worked, well enough to prevent me from questioning the very nature of my existence into a conundrum that has me asking "why am I even doing this much?"
It was a rather funny episode of Ed, Edd, and Eddy though.

That whole episode with Marceline and Ice King singing his last notes together while he remembers nothing was fucking painful. I only ever watched that show on and off, never relaly into it, but that episode hit hard. I've had people close to me develop pretty severe Alzheimer's and it reminded me of that.

There's alot of strong feeling from stories told tight and some cartoons have better moments than most live action shows I've watched.

Pearl wanted to feel important to Rose Quartz and thought that the two of them were extremely close. The fucking woman taught Pearl to go against her social class, and fight and defend herself.
When Steven found the sword and knew where the temple was, it was a MAJOR kick in the stomach. Yea Pearl probably did overreact but she had her expectations broken. She thought she had something close with Rose when in reality, she didn't. Rose didn't share romantic feelings with Pearl.
TL;DR: Pearl has been in the friend zone and is denying it up until that point. She STILL has feelings for her, even when she's dead.
