I don't even... how is this so good? I mean. Christ. I seen a lot of chinese cartoons in my day and this is better than all but a select few. It's amazing.

What else is considered god tier western animation, /co/? I've watched Avatar (though not Korra), Batman TAS and Gravity Falls. Anything else?

Samurai Jack

I liked how it had themes from the divine comedy
>>

It's a masterpiece of American animation, no doubt about that.

>Samurai Jack

>A show that sets up a conclusion and doesn't follow through, ending without any closure or satisfaction

Why not just suggest Pirates of Dark Water while you're at it, faggot.

This is off-topic, but I'd recommend the OtGW comics. There are currently five, and an on-going series is in the works. I feel like they keep the humor of the show without fucking with the canon.

OP here. I thought Gravity Falls was very good, though OtGW is frankly on another level. I mentioned it so that people wouldn't recommend it, since it seems to be incredibly popular and well received.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

For me, Moral Orel is one of the greatest shows I've seen. It had that mix of humor and heart that pushed it beyond a merely funny show.

In that same vein, I'd say when Futurama did it's emotional episodes it went from good to great.

>Batman TAS
If you enjoyed it, you might like to look into the whole of the Timmverse:
Batman: The Animated Series, season 1 (65 episodes)
Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm
Batman: The Animated Series, season 2 (20 episodes)
Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero
Superman: The animate series, season 1 & 2 (13 and 28 episodes respectively)
The New Batman Adventures, season 1 (24 episodes)
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
Superman: The animate series, season 3 (13 episodes)
Batman Beyond, season 1, 2 & 3 (13, 27 and 12 episodes respectively)
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Justice League, season 1 & 2 (26 episodes each)
Justice League Unlimited season 1, 2 & 3 (13 episodes each)

Optionally, to complete it, though it was directed by an other team, yet still set in the same universe, after having watched Justice League, you can watch
Static Chock season 1, 2, 3 and 4
As well as Zeta Project, after having watched Season 1 of Batman beyond.
