Daily reminder that Arthur peaked in seasons 2-4 (and only parts of 2).
Season 1 had your typical amount of first season shittiness/weirdness, season 5 was kinda lame, 6 was pretty good but for somewhat different reasons than 2-4. Still, it was the last good Arthur season.
7-8 sucked BLACK dick.
Then season 9 is where it becomes completely unwatchable.
People complain that the new animation is what killed it, but in reality, the show was long dead before that.

I stopped watching regularly after 10. I just couldn't do it anymore.
Over the next few years I saw some of 11-13.
Then I quit watching it on tv for good. Now I only watch episodes on youtube, and I only search out the good years, so I'd have no reason to ever see the newer seasons.
So I can't actually speak to 14-onward, but somehow I doubt it picked back up with 16.
