Not so sure about the director or the writer. Neither of them seem to have anything worthwhile under their belts, but it's not like something good hasn't come from those same circumstances before.
I'm also going to see TF5, though. I fucking loved Age of Extiction, I don't get how anyone can hate it. It was just so damn crazy, special effects were pretty great, actions sequences were nuts, one of the best mindless action movies I've seen, even if the first 45 minutes are a bit of a slog.

Like, I recognize it's a dumb movie, but holy shit. I think that's the point. It was just so obnoxious and relentless, and Wahlberg and Tucci were genuinely funny. I enjoyed most of the Autobots, too, and Grammer was a great, cheesy villain.
